Project Overview

Chief Construction completed an addition and renovation to the Broken Bow Library. The original 8,100-square-foot-structure opened in 1971. The project included reconfiguring and opening up the interior space by taking out walls and updating the 1971 building. An unused garage space was transformed into a children’s multipurpose room as well. An additional 4,000 square feet was added to the south and east of the current 8,100-square-foot building. In addition to the added square feet, up-to-date technology, sound systems, computer access, reading areas, and makerspace activities are available for the youngest and the oldest in the surrounding communities to enjoy.
